Dear Mr. Deacur:

Please be advised that I represent The King Locksmith, LLC, Lior Biton and Yasmin Benichay Biton. It has been brought to our attention that you are defaming my clients and their business by publishing false statements about them on your Locksmith Wiki website. In reviewing the website located at www.locksmithwiki.com, we were surprised and disappointed to find that you have listed my clients under a section designated “Names of Fraudulent Locksmith Companies.” There are several d/b/a’s related to my clients that are also listed under this section entitled Names of Fraudulent Locksmith Companies.

My clients are not operating a locksmith company in a fraudulent manner nor are they providing locksmith services in a fraudulent manner. Therefore, we hereby demand that you immediately remove the following names that are listed on your website under “Names of Fraudulent Locksmith Companies:”

1. A-AA Amazing Locksmith
2. A Anytime Anywhere Locksmith
3. A Locksmith
4. A Locksmith 24/7
5. Anywhere Locksmith
6. Atlanta Locksmith
7. Golden Locksmith Solutions, LLC
8. Lior Biton (president of The King Locksmith, LLC)
9. The King Locksmith, LLC
10. Yasmin Benichay Biton (president of The King Locksmith, LLC)

You should know that your failure to comply with the foregoing demand will force us to take further legal measures against you which may include the filing of a lawsuit based on the claim of libel and petitioning for an injunction to prevent the further publication of defamatory statements aimed at injuring the reputations of my clients and their business.

We would request that you contact my office once you have received this letter to confirm that you will comply with the foregoing request immediately. My contact information is listed above.

Govern yourself accordingly.

Sincerely,

Zachary M. Eastman

These statements made on Locksmith Wiki Knowledge Base are true, and not libel. Libel is defined as a false statement.

Here is the actual court document from The Superior Court of Fulton County, State of Georgia, filed May 22, 2007:

Image:GoldenLocksmith.pdf

This is a pdf over 4.4 Mb in size, showing the judgment against The King Locksmith Solutions, LLC in an alleged violation of the Fair Business Practices Act of 1975. The court of Georgia proves the statements made above are true.

Here is a link to the BBB Reliability Report for A Locksmith (a.k.a. The King Locksmith LLC) BBB Reliability Report for A Locksmith. As of June 1, 2008, it allegedly shows an unsatisfactory BBB rating, with 44 complaints against them in the last 36 months. Also "According to information in the BBB files, it appears that the company is no longer in business. The BBB's mail to this company has been returned as undeliverable." Additional DBA names that BBB provides are these:

  • The King Locksmith LLC
  • Golden Locksmith
  • Golden Locksmith Solutions, LLC
  • Golden Locksmith Solutions
  • A Locksmith 24/7
  • Anywhere Locksmith
  • Anyplace Locksmith
  • Papa Locksmith
  • Locksmith Services
  • A-AA Amazing Locksmith
  • 24/7 Emergency Locksmith
  • A Anytime Anywhere Locksmith
  • Stone Mountain Locksmith
  • Decatur Locksmith
  • Atlanta Locksmith
  • Tucker Locksmith
  • Lithonia Locksmith
  • Norcross Locksmith
  • Lilburn Locksmith
  • Lawrenceville Locksmith
  • Duluth Locksmith
  • Buford Locksmith
  • Marietta Locksmith
  • Smyrna Locksmith
  • Austell Locksmith
  • Kennesaw Locksmith

Thanks BBB! I'll add these to the list right now!

The State of Georgia Governor's Office of Consumer Affairs noted among its 2007 highlights that achievements for consumers in 2007 in the civil arena included this in the area of Unfair and Deceptive Marketing Practices:

The King Locksmith Solutions, LLC f/k/a and also d/b/a Golden Locksmith Solutions, LLC; A Locksmith, A Locksmith 24/7, A Locksmith Atlanta, Anywhere Locksmith, Anyplace Locksmith, Papa Locksmith, Locksmith Services A-AA Amazing Locksmith, 24/7 Emergency Locksmith, A Anytime Anywhere Locksmith, Stone Mountain Locksmith, Decatur Locksmith, Atlanta Locksmith, Tucker Locksmith, Lithonia Locksmith, Norcross Locksmith, Lilburn Locksmith Lawrenceville Locksmith, Duluth Locksmith, Buford Locksmith, Marietta Locksmith, Smyrna Locksmith, Austell Locksmith and Kennesaw Locksmith- This mobile locksmith business service allegedly violated the Fair Business Practices Act by running deceptive telephone directory ads; quoting one price for service fees then charging consumers more once the technician was on location; and providing shoddy repairs. In settlement of this matter, the company must henceforth comply with many strict advertising and locksmith technician performance standards. Additionally, it must pay approximately $4,100 in restitution to 18 consumers, $80,000 in civil penalties and $25,000 for administrative costs.

The above is seen publicly from georgia.gov 2007 Accomplishments.

Really? Is this a libelous statement? No! These aren't my statements, these are the statements of the State of Georgia and the BBB. So, take it up with the State of Georgia and the BBB, Mr. Eastman. Now go collect your fee from The King Locksmith for them making you type up such a silly letter.
